Jonathan founded Fry Properties in January 2016. As an already successful realtor of five years, he observed a void in what traditional brokerage firms offer for property management. Many of his real estate clients expressed frustration with their current management companies – lack of communication, negative tenant interactions, general unprofessionalism. The ideal for Fry Properties grew out of this void and it is now successful in both real estate transactions and property management and has conscientiously grown since its inception.

Jonathan takes time to truly develop a kinship with his all of his clients. He provides seasoned advice, best for each client’s unique circumstances, and he uses his background in social work and psychology to calmly and appropriately deal with any situation. His intricate understanding of the business, from both real estate AND property management angles, leads to excellent negotiation on behalf of his clients. Within his extensive network of colleagues and friends, he can find houses pre-market, sell your home early, get the most from your rental property, and make all transactions smoother and more profitable. He and his team of experts, from mortgage brokers and title companies to roofers, plumbers, handymen and everything between, will maneuver you through your transaction with success, comfort, ease, and dare we say, fun!

Jonathan lives and breathes real estate but when he’s taking a breather you’ll find him enjoying this beautiful state or experiencing other parts of the world with his wife, two daughters, and trusty boxer.  He’s lived in some of the nation’s premier cities but Colorado is his forever home!

Meghan was first introduced to the real estate industry through a career in real estate recruitment. With a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Meghan put her degree to work in a unique way by recruiting and placing real estate professionals with top producing teams around the nation. As she became well versed in the skills and systems that make a real estate team successful, Meghan decided that her knowledge would best be utilized by becoming a Realtor© herself.

Meghan started with Fry Properties in 2016 as Jonathan Fry’s assistant. After gaining an extensive understanding of the business, she started working full time as a broker associate and property manager later that year. Currently, Meghan manages a portfolio of about 50 properties throughout metro Denver, while also brokering residential sales. Meghan strives to exceed her clients’ expectations with her unparalleled dedication, effective communication, and attention to detail. She has a true passion for navigating clients through the acquisition and management of real estate investments.

On the rare occasion that she is not working, Meghan can be found hiking in the mountains with her two biggest loves–her husband, Josh, and their Belgian Malinois, Scout.

John joined Fry Properties at the beginning of 2019 after 25+ years in the Denver restaurant scene (with a brief break from hospitality co-owning a remodel and painting business). Connecting with people and consistently delivering a product in a friendly manner is in his blood!

His decades of managing four different restaurant concepts came with an “every day is different” mentality, which he found to be invigorating and challenging. Often balancing the needs of guest, employee, vendor, and business partners, he developed a problem-solving mind-set, smart execution style, and service-driven attitude. He genuinely treats each person in the supply chain like a valued partner and has established many strong relationships over the years. With an “under-promise and over-deliver” approach, he is especially suited as a property manager.

Both his brief stint in the construction business and his perpetual problem-solving in older restaurant buildings give him a unique perspective into prioritizing maintenance issues with both the tenant and property owner. Analyzing all sides of an issue allows him to gain quick resolution to problems in an educated and empathetic way.

John looks forward to learning more about real estate and all of the different facets of the business while maintaining Fry Properties as the premier property management company in the front range.

Closing one chapter of his life and moving into this new venture, he has the support of his two adult children and wife. He enjoys spending quality time with them and appreciating the outdoors as much as possible.

Joanne grew up in the real estate world helping her grandfather, a successful residential agent, file paperwork and host open houses. It was only natural for her to be interested in real estate as a career. She obtained her broker associate license in 2005 and worked for a real estate team briefly before putting her career on hold to pursue another life interest using her bachelor’s degree. However, she continued to build her real estate knowledge throughout the years, buying and selling several of her own investment properties. This has led her to become well versed in maintaining and managing rental properties, locating and hiring vendors to resolve property issues, and solving complex management problems.

Joanne chose to reactivate her license in 2018, joining Fry Properties to rekindle her passion. Her personal experience with real estate transactions allows her to provide clarity, reassurance, and understanding to her clients in the buying and selling process. She builds trusting relationships with her clients so that she can help them navigate through one of life’s scariest and happiest moments with ease.

Joanne has lived in several different cities across the front range and after 36 years in Colorado she might at well be a native! When not assisting clients, Joanne enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling with her husband Ryan and their two children, in addition to being active in her community and volunteering at her children’s school and sporting events.

After 18 years of living in Atlanta, Bethany Latzko moved to Colorado to attend CU Boulder and never looked back. She graduated, moved to Denver, and hopped right into the accounting industry, doing the books for a local restaurant group and then a worldwide commercial real estate company. Her decade+ of accounting experience gives her an edge in finding sound financial investments for her clients.

During those years of accounting, Bethany made her own exciting investments in real estate, creating a wide portfolio of rental properties and remodeling projects. Via her own endeavors, she has developed an extensive network and a contact for every aspect of home ownership and property management. She understands the value of tenant and contractor retention, especially in our fast-paced Colorado market, and feels fortunate to work in one of the top US real estate cities.

Bethany will be the first to tell you that real estate is extremely fulfilling if you do it the right way and with the right person. Hailing from Evergreen, Colorado, Desiree Root has a history as distinctive as her tattoos! Her diverse career began with a graphic design degree and a position as a women’s apparel designer at DC Shoe Company in San Diego. After four years in CA, she yearned for her mountain roots and came home to flourish in such customer-facing positions as liquor rep, bartender, and blackjack dealer. Three years abroad in Australia and New Zealand gave her a global eye for design, and she now showcases her artistic talents with her jewelry design company and Evergreen-centric blog. This well-rounded outlook has led her to add to her repertoire: Denver and Mountain Real Estate Specialist!

Desiree takes pride in helping people achieve their goals in owning or selling their properties. She puts her clients and their needs first, doggedly advocates for them, and brims with enthusiasm and positivity, knowing that she will get the job done. She is knowledgeable of the nuances of mountain houses and towns, and thrives in guiding people to their forever home in the places she loves most, with soaring views, the scent of lodgepole pine, and the awe of Colorado outdoors!

When she is not fundraising, blogging, designing jewelry, and helping others, she spends time with her three crazy dogs, rides the local ski resorts, goes camping, takes photos, supports local businesses, and travels to her husband’s homeland of Brazil.
